We have designed and built custom jewelry at our family owned shop on Biscayne Blvd since 1993, a short drive south of Aventura Mall. More than nine out of ten pieces we sell are crafted in house by our own jewelers, so there is no middleman markup and we can usually work within your budget. What Sets the Price of a Custom Piece
The Metal
The metal is the base of the cost. We work in 14k and 18k white, yellow, and rose gold, and in platinum. Platinum weighs more and costs more than gold. Higher karat gold holds more pure gold, so it costs more by weight.
The Stones
A center diamond or colored stone is often the biggest part of the price. Lab grown diamonds cost less than natural ones of the same size. Sapphires, emeralds, and rubies each sit at their own price. Stones you already own can go right into the design.
The Design
A clean band is simple to make. A detailed setting with many small stones, engraving, or a one of a kind shape takes more hours at the bench, so it costs more. You see a CAD model and approve it before we cast anything.
New Piece or Redesign
Building from raw metal costs more than reworking what you have. If we melt your old gold or reset your own stones, that lowers the price. A redesign keeps the story and updates the style for less than starting over.
